Privacy Policy

The retreat planning form collects the details you choose to provide: your full name, email address, preferred contact method, country, business or community name, host type, approximate community size, website or Instagram handle, whether you have hosted a retreat before, your destination and date preferences, estimated guest and host numbers, accommodation and experience preferences, requested inclusions, preferred service level, market position, main goal, any notes you write, and any margin scenario figures you have entered on this website.

We also store basic marketing attribution: UTM campaign parameters present in the link you arrived through, and the referring website address.

We use enquiry information to respond to you, assess feasibility, prepare retreat proposals and deliver the services you request.

Marketing is optional. We only send occasional host updates if you give separate opt-in consent, which is unticked by default. You can decline marketing and still receive a full reply, and you can withdraw marketing consent at any time.

Submissions are reviewed by the Fitness Escapes founders. We will contact you by email using the address you provide. We do not sell your information.

Enquiries are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database provided by our hosting and backend platform. Access is restricted: the public website cannot read, edit or delete stored enquiries, and submissions are written only by our validated server-side handler.

Fitness Escapes uses reputable third-party hosting, database and email service providers to receive and process enquiries and to notify us of a new enquiry. We do not claim any specific security certification on their behalf. Email correspondence is stored in the relevant email accounts. We do not sell your information.

This website uses no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking services. There is no Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no advertising pixel and no tracking cookie.

We only capture first-party attribution: any UTM campaign parameters in the link you arrived through and the referring website address. These are kept in your browser's session storage, along with any retreat brief selections you make so you do not have to answer the same question twice, and are cleared when you close the tab. They are only stored by us if you choose to submit an enquiry.

Fitness Escapes operates internationally, and our destination partners are located outside Australia, including Indonesia, the Maldives and Brazil. Our hosting and database infrastructure may also process data outside your country of residence. Where a proposal requires it, relevant details may be shared with the specific suppliers involved in your retreat.

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@fitnessescapes.com and we will action reasonable requests.
